Hunting License Course Jutland

Our weekend hunting license course spans 4 days – four theoretical lessons and two days of practical instruction related to the hunting license.

Theoretical instruction includes:

• Curriculum covering wildlife knowledge, biology and wildlife management, hunting weapons & ammunition, legislation, safety, ethics, and administration, presented with visual aids and focused teaching.
• Guidelines from the Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) on proper attire, hunting trips, and the rifle examination.

The mandatory weapons course for the hunting license includes:

• Safety rules, weapon handling, shooting techniques, 50 shots at clay pigeons, distance judgment of figures, and practice on the hunting track. This track follows the same criteria as the one used in the final exam.

Registration

Once you have registered for the hunting course, we will notify the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (Miljøstyrelsen) that you intend to take the hunting exam.

Additionally, Miljøstyrelsen will need your CPR number. Afterward, you can pay for and sign up for the hunting exam through the Mit Jagttegn portal. NemID is required to log in to Mit Jagttegn.

Thursday: 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Friday & Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Exam fee charged by the Danish Nature Agency: 310 DKK.

Payment terms: Application fee: 1,000 DKK, payable upon registration.

Cancellation: The application fee of 1,000 DKK is non-refundable. In case of cancellation, up to 3 weeks prior to the course start, 50% of the course fee, excluding the application fee, will be refunded.
